Production 4- Feature Article
Feature Article-
Kenzie Najjar is a junior at Sarasota High School in the AICE Program. Kenzie is in several clubs at the school and participates in basketball outside of school. I met up with Kenzie over winter break on December 27th to ask her some questions. Kenzie has played basketball since she was 5 years old. She had a major injury to her knee when she was about 10. This injury put a devastating pause on her sport. After several months off and months of physical therapy, she has been back and better than ever. Kenzie was on the team that every girl player dreamed about. They won serval tournaments and championships. She loves this sport and wants to use her knowledge to teach younger kids not only basketball skills but teamwork, dedication, and competitive skills. Kenzie Najjar trains 26 hours a week while juggling school work, a job, and a healthy sleep schedule. She uses everything she has learned in basketball and incorporates it into her everyday life. Still a junior
in high school, she has made so many accomplishments and has several goals she wants to reach by the end of high school and college...…
